Fruit pulp processing

Fruit input, pulp output and campaign capacity

Keep mass additions, qualified product and elapsed campaign time separate when discussing line capacity.

Choose the numerator

Fruit input, total product and user-classified qualified pulp are different measurements. Record additions separately. When additions are present, product mass divided by fruit input is not a fruit recovery figure.

  • Measure input and output over matching boundaries.
  • State how product qualifies for the measured output.
  • Keep residual and uncollected mass visible.

Choose the clock

Running output per hour uses the observed machine-running minutes. Campaign output per hour includes the recorded start preparation, running, between-batch changeovers and final cleanout. Neither becomes a guaranteed equipment rating.

  • Count each between-batch interval once.
  • Put zero after the last batch; record final cleanout separately.
  • Compare elapsed time with the available campaign window.

Use measured cases to ask better questions

The campaign worksheet calculates only what is entered. It does not establish quality acceptance, preservation suitability or repeatability at another scale. Share the measurement basis alongside the result.

  • Avoid filling unknown measurements with invented defaults.
  • Recalculate after any selection or input changes.
  • Review a matching record before attaching it to an enquiry.

Two-stage Fruit Pulper and Refiner

Two driven cylindrical stages recover pulp from suitable prepared fruit and refine the accepted fraction to the selected screen arrangement.
