Fruit pulp processing

Installation, access and maintenance planning

Review the pulp line as an operable plant layout with accessible contact parts and defined service responsibilities.

Review the layout with the campaign team

Check fruit entry, preparation stations, residue exits, operators, bulk containers and finished-pack movement together. The drawing should show the space needed during cleaning and maintenance, not only normal operation.

  • Identify lifting and removal envelopes.
  • Keep access to screens, seals and drives visible.
  • Review waste-container movement and drains.

Define commissioning evidence

Use an agreed inlet condition and output assessment method for each material trial. Record configuration, interruptions and measured mass / time so the result can be interpreted later.

  • Verify installation and interface documentation.
  • Keep representative fruit trials separate from dry checks.
  • Record unresolved items with an owner.

Plan campaign-specific wear and spares questions

Ask the supplier which contact parts, seals and screens are configuration-dependent, which inspections are required and how replacements are identified. No service interval or spare life is assumed here.

  • Request model-specific manuals and parts lists.
  • Record safe isolation procedures.
  • Agree support scope and exclusions in writing.
