Fruit pulp processing

Mango, guava and papaya campaign planning

Compare fruit-specific preparation and texture evidence before deciding which parts of the pulp line can be shared.

A fruit name is only the beginning

Record cultivar, ripeness, incoming form, seasonal variation and the intended pulp specification. The three fruit routes below identify preparation questions; they do not prescribe a universal machine.

  • Mango: stone, peel and flesh routing.
  • Guava: seed removal and grainy stone-cell texture.
  • Papaya: peel, cavity seeds and soft-flesh handling.

Prepared pulp needs an inlet agreement

Existing prepared pulp may bypass receiving and raw-fruit preparation. Verify its preservation state, particles, temperature and transfer condition before deciding which extraction or finishing duties remain.

  • Identify the upstream processing already completed.
  • Review transport and transfer conditions.
  • Keep any missing inlet information in the campaign brief.

Do not extend compatibility by analogy

For another fruit, start a dedicated material review. Similar colour or viscosity does not prove equivalent preparation, separation, cleaning or preservation duties.

  • Add representative samples.
  • Record skin, seed / stone and fibre characteristics.
  • Review a separate transition into and out of that fruit.

Flesh recovery

Mango Destoner and Flesh Recovery Machine

A mango preparation family combines controlled feeding and separation duties to recover flesh ahead of downstream screening.

Pulp recovery and texture

Two-stage Fruit Pulper and Refiner

Two driven cylindrical stages recover pulp from suitable prepared fruit and refine the accepted fraction to the selected screen arrangement.
