Fruit pulp processing

Selecting Fruit Pulper Screens

Specify recovery and texture with a prepared-fruit sample, an agreed pulp profile and a suitable two-stage screen combination.

Specify the product instead of only an aperture

Describe the desired fibre and coarse-particle content. The published DJ-family screen range is a configuration reference; it does not establish the fitted screens or useful output for every fruit.

Review preparation and rejects

Remove hard stones and damaging foreign material upstream. Record how the prepared fruit is fed and where each stage discharges unwanted fractions.

Compare stage combinations on a representative sample

Assess useful pulp, coarse rejects and texture together. A finer second-stage screen may change the accepted pulp and recovery; choose the combination against the agreed sample.

Plan removal and cleaning

Allow space to withdraw and inspect screens. Clean both sides and the reject outlets; flushing the downstream pipe alone does not clean the screening assembly.

Ask about the equipment for this duty.

Share the incoming material, required pulp and intended package. Include your current equipment if this is a replacement or an extension.

Two-stage Fruit Pulper and Refiner

Two driven cylindrical stages recover pulp from suitable prepared fruit and refine the accepted fraction to the selected screen arrangement.
