Fruit pulp processing

Pulp, puree and industrial bulk routes

Define the ingredient by its intended use, particle profile and preservation route before comparing a fruit pulp processing line.

Start with the product specification

Pulp and puree can overlap in commercial language. Ask the buyer to define retained fibre, particles, texture, composition basis and intended use. A label does not establish a machine configuration.

  • Attach an agreed sample or assessment method.
  • Separate fruit-derived solids from any added ingredients.
  • State the destination market and specification owner.

Keep three decisions separate

The ingredient, its preservation route and its package answer different questions. Smooth guava pulp might be discussed with a frozen or aseptic route; bag-in-drum alone chooses neither.

  • Ingredient: measured particle / fibre description.
  • Preservation: frozen, aseptic or another defined process.
  • Package: bag, supporting container, closure and handling.

Compare routes at a common boundary

Ask each proposal to state the same incoming-fruit condition and finished-pack hand-off. An offer that stops at extracted pulp cannot be compared directly with one including validated preservation and filling.

  • Show included modules and excluded duties.
  • Identify upstream preparation and downstream storage.
  • Keep pending decisions visible in the enquiry.

Pulp recovery and texture

Two-stage Fruit Pulper and Refiner

Two driven cylindrical stages recover pulp from suitable prepared fruit and refine the accepted fraction to the selected screen arrangement.
